I found my hairdresser and I'm so happy I could cry! I've had so many bad experiences in the past but after cutting my own fringe, damn you TikTok, I had to bite the bullet and take a chance. Most of the reviews were great, especially on Treatwell, so I booked in! The salon is local to me and ever the optimist, I was hoping this would be the one that stuck. On entering, Paulina greeted me with a friendly face and a warm energy. She spent a good while on the consultation, getting a feel for my hair and what I wanted. What I wanted was for her to try and repair my fringe bodge job..what I got was a wonderful experience with a wonderful lady and an excellent haircut! She really listens. My fringe was terrible, I cut a shelf! But she made it look great! I need to go back when it's grown a little but in the meantime, I no longer have to pin it up - winning! We chatted, and I listened to what she has to put up with with some clients and I really felt for her. Sophie, reading your review, it sounds like you're one of them. I don't really know what's what with hair but I did check first so I knew I was booking at the right price. Short hair is classed as ABOVE the shoulder. You might feel like it's short but you were clearly in the wrong here, and it's clear you have a bad attitude. Ain't no one got time for that! I know I'm a good judge of character and Paulina is a superstar, beautiful personality, kind soul and a brilliant hairdresser. My hairdresser

Never again!!!! Rudest hairdresser Ive ever met. Paulina said I had booked the wrong appointment and that I have medium hair not short hair. I apologised and said my last hairdresser classed this as short hair and that I would pay the extra 15 for medium hair. She said why didnt you go back to your old hairdresser then, I told her I had just moved areas and was looking for a new hairdresser, which was such a rude thing to say to a new customer. Paulina was very rude and told me she didnt have time to do my hair, although the appointment time difference between medium and short hair was 10 minutes. She had already wasted 10 minutes being rude to me and humiliating me. I said my highlights normally take about 2 hours as my hair is thin but the women continued to tell me no and being very unpleasant. I asked if she could just start it and I would pay extra, and she was not having any of it. I then asked if she could refund me and I would find somewhere else to get it done. She said it wasnt up to her to refund me, yet she was the one to refuse me from the salon. She marked on treatwell that I was a no show.
