Great range of kits despite missing of some crucial deltoid/pectoral fly machines however, big freeweight area, functional and cable crossover machines make up for it. In freeweight area you'd find 7 /8 benches in total which is good but no variety on glute, hamstring and quadiceps machines as there are only one machine of each muscle group. All types of cardio machines in place additionally stretch machines which is quite rare to find them in most of gyms, glad that nuffield have them all. Changing rooms and showers are clean, however, i found male toilet is a bit small. Lastly, decent size of lockers and an integrated smart locking unit is handy. Overall, it is a good size budget friendly gym with a great view.

Does what it says on the website; there's a bright gym, a selection of exercise classes, swimming pool, sauna/ steam room and it's great value for money compared to other centers in the area. It's a high-footfall gym so equipment does inevitably break but in my experience it is always quickly fixed. No, the sauna and steam room are not an exotic five star hammam experience but I'm not there to judge the dated dcor, I'm there to sweat out the wine and cry off my hangover. Shout out to Jarryd, Bethany and the rest of the team. I can't imagine the staff being anything other than supremely polite, positive and helpful, as they have all unequivocally been with me. However I do notice all too often rather impatient and bad mannered customers... Great gym, super staff, better than Barbican.

Classes and trainers are great and the equipment is reasonable given the size. The other areas, especially changing rooms, sauna/steam and pool are very tired however. The steam room never works and doesnt feel clean. Sauna is tiny and too busy. Showers need replacing. Locker room is huge but as the majority of the lockers dont work its a waste of space. Not sure if there is a reason for the lack of investment, but the premises desperately need some TLC, especially compared to other connections clubs.
