We were delighted with our roof light and happy that the company is still in business after the challenge of recent world events BUT we have found the after sales service at times, not to mention cost, somewhat bumpier. We had a major issue with our product that was resolved satisfactorily, unfortunately at our expense. Also scheduling a service now appears to require around 3 months notice plus full payment in advance in order to secure an appointment. This is extraordinary given that technicians are billed by the hour, not to mention that a quote for three hours of electrical labour @ 136 per hour (plus the non-electrical electrical labour) seemed a little excessive on a relatively small roof light. The last service we booked, the electrician didn't come at all and in the past we always had to chase the company to pay the our invoices, so perhaps this pre-payment concept for appointments is the result. We can understand paying a deposit, but pre-paying in full for 'future' hourly service is just not good practice. We obviously need and want to continue to work with the company to maintain their great product but this way of operating with long-standing clients does not enhance customer relations nor inspire recommending the company with 100% confidence because after care is equally, if not more important than the product, which was no small investment.
