Sebastian and team did a fantastic job doing a significant structural and refitting project in our new house. The project involved removal of two structural walls, installation of a structural box beam, full electrical/plumbing fit-out and kitchen installation and decoration -- 3 months of work. From the start, Sebastian demonstrate his experience, understanding of our vision, and clearly had an experienced and professional team to do the job. Called this firm twice - twice I had to provide my contact details with the promise of a call back - after weeks nobody had the courtesy to get in contact with me. This is basic stuff.....very poor service from the very start

Diligent Developments are hands down the best builders I've worked with. Each person in the crew is professional, the work is done on schedule, and they really go the extra mile to make sure it's done properly. Seb in particular spent a lot of time making sure our plans were going to turn out exactly the way we hoped and I'm certain we would've made a lot of mistakes without his guidance. I really can't recommend the crew at Diligent enough, and we'll definitely be going back to them for any future building works we have.

I don't usually write reviews but spent a lot of time and effort looking for a contractor to stop the water coming into our basement (as a result of high water table). This contractor was polite but I was stunned when receiving the quote. They quoted over 4,000+VAT for a waterproof resistant concrete slab 100mm thick with a damp proof membrane sheet, which they say is "saving us a few grand" from installing a sump pump. Separately, we received quotes from four other contractors all of which suggested installing a sump pump and all of which quoted around the 2,500 mark (including VAT). After searching online and asking a family friend, the quotes from the other contractors seem fair and we have checked the make and model of the sump pump suggested. I would not recommend this contractor for solutions for small coal cellar basements perhaps they are more suited to high end multi-million pound properties.
