Find My Past operates the search function for the Public Records online search portal. To find a record you have to subscribe to Find My Past but they omit to tell you the level of subscription you need. So when you subscribe you are taken straight to a very expensive premium subscription upgrade option and cannot access any data without upgrading. SHAMEFUL AND AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF

I have been trying to contact this place from the other side of the planet by phone and by email and by their various other channels now for quiet a few hours and nothing has happened. I do not do FB and TW. Are this group happy to take subscriptions but not willing to have a working phone number or chat line for people that use their service on a regular basis. I even checked thinking my god is it a Bank Holiday in the UK. As we say on the other side of the planet NOT HAPPY JAN!
