This is the second time we appointed Mears Family Funerals at West Wickham Branch to deal with all matter in relation to dear family member funeral. I would like to highly recommend their services as from the first contact to the service itself - they were dealing with utter respect and dignity towards and our beloved deceased. Mears, West Wickham, have recently provided an absolutely outstanding service after my father's death. Maria in the office could not have been more understanding, sympathetic, professional and helpful. She always responded to any questions immediately and really made us feel very confident in their service. Everything was explained very thoroughly and the staff who accompanied us on the day of the funeral were polite, helpful and courteous. I could not recommend highly enough!

My father passed away unexpectedly at home on the 4th January 2021. Mears Family Funerals were appointed by the local Coroner, to transfer my father to the hospital mortuary at The Princess Royal University Hospital. The three gentlemen from Mears Family Funerals that were dispatched to complete this task treated my father with what can only be described as the utmost respect and dignity, for which I will always be grateful. Throughout the entire process of dealing with this bereavement during a Pandemic, all of the staff at Mears Family Funerals and particularly Maria Sofocleous at the West Wickham Branch, were sympathetic and provided very clear guidance as to each phase of the procedure, which I found extremely helpful.
