I really loved the bridal bouquet, maid of honour bouquet and buttonholes that Ambrosia created for our wedding day. The only problem was, that we didn't receive them for the ceremony! We had extensive communication regarding delivery of the flowers to Islington townhall at 09.30 a.m prior to our 10 a.m ceremony - Ambrosia were supposed to send these by taxi to the townhall that morning. I arrived and there were no flowers! I called several times, but no one answered the phone - you can imagine this is not the stress that a bride needs on the morning of her ceremony. I'm not sure what happened, but when we got to our reception venue the vendor did not apologise and asked me why I hadn't sent a taxi to collect the flowers despite the fact that the vendour arrived at the venue after the time we needed the flowers delivered to the townhall. I didn't want to further ruin my day, so I didn't express my disappointment that the flowers weren't there for the ceremony. Apparently a bridal bouquet is 'a must' according to ambrosia's instagram page but obviously that didn't apply to me! The floral arch created at our venue was beautiful, although initially the vendor offered to not charge a further delivery and set-up fee but then tried to get a further 100 for delivery and set up. High table centerpieces were underwhelming given the 145 price tag. Overall, I found that using this vendor was unnecessarily stressful and ruined part of the day, although the majority of the floral arrangements were beautiful. I would not recommend using them for this reason. I found this vendor through bark and the vendor keeps on reporting the review I left on there (which is the same as above) in order to remove it from her profile. Makes me wonder how many other client's reviews the vendor reports to remove in order to create a false impression about how happy clients are with the services provided. I find this dishonest and unprofessional and hence have posted my review here so that at least it is available on another platform.
