It is rare these days to find tradesmen that meet your expectations. And even rarer to find someone that exceeds them. But in Rafael Miranda of BR Electrical Services, this is what you get. Rafael is a professional, fully-qualified electrician who is a delight to have working for you. He has a friendly disposition and is completely honest. I had no hesitation in leaving him in the house, working away, when I had to go out. Or in giving him the keys to let him come and go when he wanted. I had been left in the lurch by a man that had come to me via a recommendation of a recommendation. He turned out to be a charlatan of limited capabilities. He almost completed the first fix in a new extension I was having built but I let him go as I was so unhappy (and worried) with his work. I wasnt sure where I would find an electrician to complete the job and was extremely fortunate to discover the NAPIT site and saw that BR Electrical Services was a local firm. Rafael turned up as arranged and agreed to take on the work which turned out to be more than just a second fix. Some of the previous installation was incorrect and had to be re-done. Rafael took on extra work including purchasing parts, installing Wi-fi boosters; setting up my Smart TV; and re-programming my new underfloor heating thermostats. He also installed a NEST system to replace the mess of wiring that the previous electrician had installed. And Rafael instructed me on how to use it all. When I needed help afterwards to use the equipment, he would always call me back as arranged and talk me through to the solution. Rafaels work is clean and tidy and his charges fair and reasonable. He is a man of his word and anyone lucky enough to secure his services is in for a rewarding experience. I have no hesitation in giving him the highest of recommendations and would give him more than 5 stars if I could. BR Electrical services have been outstanding. Tatjana in the office is super-organised and responsive. Rafael arrives on time, explains everything clearly, and completed all the work to a very high standard. He solved a difficult problem that had defeated others previously. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he truly went the extra mile to make sure that everything was done properly and to our satisfaction. I can confidently give BR services my highest recommendation. A rare gem. BR Electricals are a cracking wee team and heartily recommend them for household electrical work. We had a bathroom fan installed and Rafael arrived promptly at the agreed time. He was polite, helpful and happy to do what we wanted whilst giving his advice. Very reasonably priced for an excellent service. We will be using BR Electrical for all household work going forward.
