I took a silk dress that had some grease, red wine and mud stains on it, which I pointed out to them before leaving the dress to be cleaned. When I went to collect the dress I wasn't made aware that they were unable to remove any of them. It wasn't until I went to wear the dress that I realised none of the stains had been removed. All they managed to do was seal them in!! I wouldn't recommend these dry cleaners for special care fabric cleaning! Service: Special care fabric cleaning

The service at this dry cleaners is appalling. The job done on my alteration was absolutely terrible, ruining an expensive pair of denim. The shortening came back to me as a trouser hemming, not finished like denim. When I challenged, I was told rudely that this was my fault, because I had not specified the finish I wanted. Absolute lack of common sense and worse, zero customer service. When I returned home, and told my husband my story, he informed me that he had a similar encounter with the man serving the week prior - and actually walked out and taken his dry cleaning to be done up the road - GOOD MOVE! I never post, but I dont want anyone else to pay these people to ruin your goods then be rude to you. Service: Clothing alterations & repairs

I'm not usually one for trashing a business online, especially a local one, rather than chain, but having just had such a bad experience, I'm compelled to prevent anyone having the same! I dropped a suit off on Monday, to be picked up Friday. I'd forgotten the ticket for pickup so the person behind the counter typed in my phone number - saying nothing had come up against it. Thinking I'd perhaps missed a number, I held up my phone so he could copy the number, still nothing. He then just looked at me and shrugged. I headed home to try and find the ticket, which we did, and the number on the ticket was the exact one we'd given. Despite the receipt saying 12 pounds, I was then charged 19 pounds and told that this was because of a mistake on their part when issuing the ticket. Getting the suit and shirt home, I can only echo other reviews in the incredibly poor quality of work - the shirt was full of visible creases and not pressed at all. Certainly won't be going back, and hoping that this review prevents anyone else having the same experience!

I've been a customer for 14 years and they have always returned my clothes in an immaculate condition. The staff are respectful and make you feel welcome.
