Shellen

Our door was ordered and paid for a year ago. We were advised 12 weeks from order to installation - 12 months later we still haven't received it and Shelley are refusing to give us any indication of when we will. Months of hounding by email and phone - each time with them refusing to give us any indication of how much longer we'd need to wait for an installation date. Finally a door arrived after 9 months, but it turned out to be the wrong size. After the installation guys took it away we heard nothing from Shellen - no acknowledgement, no apology. We had to chase them again, and we're now back at square one with them refusing to give us even a rough installation date. We're currently living with a door that doesn't meet fire safety standards and is also now broken and doesn't lock properly - the council recommended we use Shellen, so both they and the council are totally negligent when it comes to fire safety. The most ridiculous, stressful and infuriating experience I've ever had with any company. Please, avoid giving Shellen your business or your contracts.

Very poor service. I have been trying to get a door installation since my move in January 2022, between Shellen and Council bureaucracy I eventually could order (and paid) a new door in March 2022 with expected delivery date June 2022. It's end of September and after several calls from my side I've got told: since the door haven't been been surveyed yet it will take another 12 weeks to manufacture the glass. I was told in June that the door was under manufacturing. Meanwhile my door is not safe as doesn't lock properly and lets in many draughts... Seriously.

Underserving of 1 star as had an awful experience with this company. They do not care about getting back to you to update you on process of door, even when you've paid money upfront. When you call up, no one seems to know who is in charge and there is no explanation for anything other than "wait another 6 weeks and we should have an update." Shockingly bad customer service which put me through so much stress. Had to cancel the sale in the end. Do not go through this company! Complete waste of time and money.

Totally unreliable. Try ringing them email them with no reply on either. Don't recommend them

What a joke of a company. Had their BM Trada accreditation suspended (If you know them then this will not come as a great surprise), they are awful at communication and for the ridiculously high price they charge for their average doors, I would of expected a lot better. I would steer clear of this sham of a company and look elsewhere, you can find better companies easily that charge a lot less.
