This gp is very unhelpful with people with long term conditions, I have not heard from a single doctor in the last 3 years, I have only spoken to the pharmacist and that is because of CD, Im in horrific pain everyday and not one doctor has been interested to even see me, also all referrals I get r from my hospital doctor and it takes this practice weeks to push them threw. The doctors have no interest in there patients what so ever

UNFORTUNATELY my local GP surgery the Family Practice on Holloway Road N7, whom I have been with for over 22 years (Excellent GPs: Dr Usha Bowry, Dr Bowry Senior, Dr Tamara Bowry, Dr Neelesh Bowry and Dr Scerif and excellent administrators) has now amalgamated with the DISMAL PartnershipPrimaryCare Centre. 331CamdenRoad. London. N7 0SL. It is impossible to get an appointment with my usual GPs, being told that patients have to phone at 8am and waste hours on an automated queing system, only to be then put through to a telephone receptionist, (who has clearly been educated in the ghetto), that all dates are booked and admin staff do not have calendar dates for GP appointment bookings beyond 3 weeks at any one time!! What a shambolic service, I highly question the administrative qualifications of practice managers at this medical centre, I do not wish to hear the excuses that there are 8,000 patients and therefore practice incompetence should be acceptable. If the practice managers are incapable of implementing systems and staff, that offer a decent quality of service at first point of call, then this is only going be reflected in the terrible reviews that this medical centre is currently receiving. I want to be very clear that my affiliation with this medical practice is ONLY due to the fact that I wish to be seen by my former GPs: Dr Tamara Bowry, Dr Neelesh Bowry and Dr Scerif, it is also very clear that had the practice manager from the former Family Practice been leading the helm, patients would not have to endure being treated by ill mannered, poorly educated, unrefined, undignified reception and administrative staff. I question as to why the current Practice Manager, holds a medical doctor qualification but is not practicing as a doctor. Has he been struck off? Does he keep failing his exams to practice in the U.K? Either way, the lack of professionalism of the staff under him, only further exemplify his own poor standards! The original practice manager at 'The Family Practice' on Holloway Road was a cut above of this whole rabble and would never have employed or tolerated such low standards. Let's hope things improve in the next six months, otherwise I will no doubt have to refer to the GMC practice authorities.

*My experience so far* I had been with my GP Surgery (The Family Practice) for nearly two decades, and once they merged with this clinic I was anxious about booking appointments or being seen by my regular GP. Little did I know that they now had more doctors to book appointments with and all the familiar faces were around too. I felt very lucky to know that a nurse was also available for appointments, for less urgent needs and she was absolutely AMAZING. I met Nurse Asha during my pregnancy, she was and still is incredible. She is caring and compassionate, actively listens to me and gives me options which I was comfortable with. She was able to make a plan moving forward due to pains and aches I was experiencing, and she was also nice enough to make follow up appointments over the phone to check-in with me. She has been an incredible help towards me, my mental health and hopefully my soon-to-be baby boy. I have never had any complaints from my previous Practice and hoping it will continue this way. Please also note the patients, sometimes telephone appointments are best as there has been a rise in appointments for smaller needs such as coughs and colds. Prescriptions can now be sent electronically to a pharmacy close-by to you which I find super helpful as I dont need to make the trip to the GP and then back to the pharmacy. Our doctors and nurses are doing the best they can, given the circumstances, we should be grateful :)
