I have sat in this waiting room for over an hour for most appointments me and my family have had over the years ....However I turn up today with my daughter who is in alot of pain. I thought the receptionist said 2.20 we arrived at 2.18 to be told our appointment was at 2.10pm and the doctor won't see us. ( another locum we have never seen) We arrived still within her appointment time but they turned us away. Instead of getting her in to see the GP they were more interested in listening to the phone call to confirm it was 2 10pm...!!! If your looking for a caring and personal GP this isn't the place... you are treated like a number, never see sane gp twice and spoken to like you should be grateful whatever treatment or lack of you get.....!!!

I came for an appointment with Dr Dowdy, had been unable to eat drink talk and sleep for the last few days before the appointment due to really bad pain and swelling in my gums and tonsils. The appointment didnt even last 1 minute and she checked my temperature and had a look in my mouth, told me to gargle salt water and take painkillers and it would stop in a few days. I questioned it and said so its infected but theres nothing else I can do other than painkillers to which I got a laugh and a smirk. Everything started to get worse, came back today to see Dr James who immediately saw what was wrong and has put me on antibiotics. If it wasnt for every other member of staff at this place, it would be the lowest score.
