Receptionists are lovely. However, appointments are not given until 3 weeks later which is disgusting even if its an emergency, other GPs are able to provide availability on the day or in the next few days despite a large number of patients. During these Covid times, everything is done via phone call and yet Doctors struggle to resolve all the issues a 80+ year old lady is struggling with. Doctor quoted in the 10minute slot you are given we only resolve one issue on the patient. That is disgusting to hear! Despite not even using the full 10minutes they struggle to provide adequate help to patients. Its utterly disappointing to hear and witness this.

This practice is still running like it is the 1980's. You can't get a proper appointment with the doctor. When you do, you are failed to be told that you will be called and once the reception books in a date and time which is most likely 3/4 weeks away. They will start to bombard your phone as early as they can as they don't know know what a schedule is and the fact that other people in the UK have a schedule. I honestly don't know how many kick backs this practise gets from the Pharma company but I'd strongly suggest you avoid.

I have had several experiences with a number of GP surgeries over the last 10 yrs - having moved home a number of times. I must say, this is by FAR the best surgery. The doctors, the staff, the nurses every single person working there is truly to serve the patients. of course there are minor hiccups but mainly due to the nhs system rather than the surgery itself. If you want a doctor that cares about your well being and staff that treat you that way, this is the surgery to go to.
