Rude receptionist. Waited 20 minutes for my appointment and when I sat down I was told I only had 10mins and to book another appointment for some other things I wanted to talk about. Rude GP. I was seen for 2 minutes.

If you want to see GP here, you need to wake up 7:30, call them and wait on the line for 40 minutes. Make sure you have something serious, otherwise they wont be happy to see you

Within 25 minutes of picking up the phone I had spoken to the receptionist, had a callback from a Doctor and a consultation and a prescription had been sent to the pharmacist, so impressive

Previously I gave the surgery one star. Things have been changing since the refurbishment and change of Gps. Very accommodating reception staff I really cannot find fault with them at all nothing is too much for them, they're kind, understanding and compassionate which healthcare is all about. Gps.? You'll be assigned to a "named" Gp. You don't get to choose and you won't be allowed to change Gp even after asking nicely. (Unless this has changed) Now recently things have changed since Dr Webb retired but remains a partner. There appears to be a change around with Gps who initially appear to be compassionate and listen. Unfortunately they've spent more time and money on refurbishments than they do patients which is a great pity as is really could be a fantastic surgery all but for things such as the Practice manager who appears to dislike patients who have serious illness and issues which ultimately cost money for badly needed pain relief medication. They have a problem with patients who suffer severe chronic pain and are very adept at closing ranks when opposed. Dr. Howard is good. Dr.C.Sher is very good. All in all not too bad now and getting better. I'd like to get a response back but we'll probably have to wait. Mercer
