Real mixed bag. Duck was neard perfect. The crispy bean curd cheing fun was very different and delicious if a bit greasy. Chilli oil dumplings were just weird and not as expected. The shanghai soup dumplings were massive and satisfying but not the fabled "best soup dumpling" in London. The food here is good but doesn't warrant the massive queues putside. Reasonably priced mind

Above average dim sum / Cantonese cuisine in London. The consistent long queues, no matter what day of week, time of day or weather, gave me very high expectations. Having now tried it, I can say there are other places that deliver a similar standard without the queue or can be reserved. Dim Sum duck is quite good, but it also benefits from a lack of competition in the area and an alluring inertia from its visible queues. If youre curious to try, willing to line up and dont want to go elsewhere in London for quality Hong Kong food, youll reliably get good food, but dont expect it to blow your mind. Solid 4/5 - might do take out if I get the itch in the area next time, but hard to say if Id line up again.

Really good food and service was amazing especially considering how long the queues were. I loved the bbq duck and roasted pork cheung fun - the beef ho fun was delicious too. I would go again but not when Im starving as we did have to queue over an hour to get a table but to be fair that was as a group of 4. Its quicker if youre going with a smaller group.
