Have been meaning to post since we first joined the practice about a year ago. Ariella is a credit to her profession and The Grove. She makes both myself and my wife feel at ease, is professional, but with humour as well. Always very thorough and will discuss all options available when considering treatment for any issues. We are glad to have found her. The reception have always been helpful, polite and efficient in our experience since joining. Thanks!

I had an extraction at another dentist, and it developed a swelling. I called my practice the Grove Dental and got an appointment immediately. On getting there, I saw Ariella, my assigned dentist who did a thorough check and x-ray. She reassured me that it was the gums feeling poorly and needed more time and care. She asked me to continue with the care routine, and hopefully, all should be well. I love the way I got an appointment quite quickly and the service received. Ariella was very careful when checking on the tooth that was problematic. She also sorted out another tooth with issues. I highly recommend the practice. My children are very happy when they have their appointments and so I am!

Brilliant customer service and expert dentistry! I have been coming here for treatment and check ups for decades. Mr Makrides Senior was amazing, then when he retired, I continued to receive treatment from his son, Stephanos who is just as brilliant! I really recommend this practice.

This surgery is a disgrace. From my own experience at this dental clinic I believe in my opinion that Dr Stefan Makrides is trying to profit money by sending benefit recipients to the hygienist, who charges 50 per visit, regardless of whether those on benefits require a clinical scale and polish free of charge just like I did. Despite the fact that I was receiving benefits and had a right to the scale and polish as part of my band 1 treatment, Dr Stefan Makrides rejected my request for a scale and polish and told me to pay 50 to their private hygienist to have the plaque on the front of my teeth removed. He used the old decrepit excuse that he has to cut appointment times because of covid. I believe their appointment times are being shortened also because he also wants to see as many patients as possible throughout the day and is citing the covid pandemic as a justification despite the fact that the pandemic has long since ended. He then tried to further introduce another excuse by refusing my nhs free scale and polish by classing my plagued teeth as cosmetic reasons why I wanted it removed. He was refusing to scale and polish them and was instead trying to make me pay a hygienist 50. It was only after I made a complaint to NHS England that he retracted his refusal and quickly offered to clean my teeth that were covered with plague on the Gum line and iritatating me. Based on my own experience I have concerns as to how many other NHS patients on benefits is being reffered on to their private hygienist so they may spend 50 an appointment while denying them the scale and polish to which they were and are entitled to if clinically required, exactly like he did to me. Because of my experience at the practise and more so because of what I perceive to be going on, I have no desire to ever go back!!
