This doctor lie about babys tongue tie condition. He takes the advantage of nerves new parents and exaggerate the degree of babys oral condition so he can make more money from the surgery. He doesnt check baby properly and if any risk happens (like bleeding, pain, infection) he only says the baby is fine without check. If the parents are satisfied about the surgery, he only says he isnt responsible because the parents have sighed the consent form. My baby suffer so much from this doctor and developed long term oral aversion.

I feel compelled to write a review as, especially as a first time mum, I was desperately searching online for a trusted practitioner to help us with our two week olds category three tongue tie & lip tie. After three recommendations (one personal, two professional) for Dr Levinkind, we took our baby for a consultation. Dr Levinkind was extremely understanding of how nervous we were and immediately put us at ease. He gave baby a thorough and holistic examination, and took his time explaining everything to us about the procedure, our options, his background etc. We felt as confident as we could have done entrusting him with our young baby. His assistant & lactation consultant Carla was on hand to calm baby; she was so kind to her and to us and this also put us at ease. We decided to go ahead with the procedure there and then, it was done quickly and baby appeared to not be in any pain afterwards. I will say that later that evening she got very upset, possibly she was in pain, but I think it was more the new and probably strange sensation of being able to move her tongue fully. I was able to calm her with skin to skin, feeding and letting her sleep. The exercises afterwards are hard going in that baby would cry a lot from the force of pushing her tongue back and having our hands in her mouth, but as long as I fed her as soon as it was done, she would forget all about it. We went back to Dr Levinkind after a week and he gave us some pointers and encouragement, which was incredibly helpful. In total, it took baby 2.5 weeks to noticeably heal and a slow but steady improvement in her latch up to 8 weeks later, and by 12 weeks I had no pain from her latch at all. I would say to any new parents, please do your own research on the procedure and practitioners so that youre comfortable in your decision, but know that we had a very successful experience with Dr Levinkind and do highly recommend him.

After being brushed off by the NHS as an over paranoid first time mum I consulted a lactation specialist. She diagnosed tongue and lip tie and gave me options for treatment. I opted for Dr Levinkind as he uses laser which I felt was less invasive. He did a thorough medical history and on assessment confirmed exactly what the lactation consultant had said. The procedure was done and my son suffered no bleeding. Dr Levinkind assistant is fantastic and checked after the procedure if my son was latching correctly. We also got lots of extra welcomed advice regarding my son. Everything was explained to the maximum and nothing was rushed. Would highly recommend him to anyone. Definitely do not agree with the two bitter comments before mine. Itll seriously change your babies life and for that its worth every penny in my opinion

Very rude and arrogant attitude. Not sure about the professionalism, but he did a tongue tie surgery while it is not needed. Baby was under extreme pain and fear (with post surgery stretching exercise).
