Have had to have dental work done recently - Dr Sonam Bhatia was very gentle she explained the choices and options clearly and was informative. When doing the work she checked I was OK regularly. She has soothing music on in the background which is calming. I believe she is part time at the practice so appointments go fast and are hard to come by. I would recommend this dentist.

I have been an NHS patient with Purley Dental Care for many years now during which time I have received excellent service and treatment. The standard of dental care I have received has been consistently high and the dental teams very pleasant, welcoming and professional. All my fillings were done with little or no pain and have lasted without any problems. My most recent visit last week was yet another pleasant experience thanks to Dentist Sonam and I would have no hesitation in recommending this surgery.

I had the worst experience with this dentist and my issue was never handled with care. My dentist did not numb me properly before drilling into my tooth. I tried telling them I could feel it but they continued, which led to drilling into a nerve that caused me a level of pain I never experienced before. Yes,they changed my dentist but nothing more was considered or dealt with thereafter. This appointment was preparing me for a root canal of which I had to return to get the crown fitted. I paid for the natural looking crown only to have it crack. They told me it was fine as it was....it wasn't. Th tooth was infected once again as the crack allowed for bacteria to grow and it resulted to removing the tooth with private a private dentist.

Being an NHS patient with Purley Dental Care after my 2 check ups as apparently there was not enough time to make it 1 check up. After check up I was told Id have to be referred to Brigstock Dental on 97 Brigstock road, Thornton Heath for specialist treatment as the tooth was to close to the front of my mouth purley dental care claimed they did not have the equipment to carry out root canel. Having the second check up at Brigstock dental this was priced at private premium. The root canel with out a crown was then priced at 900. Having felt this was the only way toward I agreed even though I am on the NHS my tooth that was operated on then became infected 3 days later & now Im in a lot pain & simply been conned by the 2 practices that turns out to have family relations.

Avoid at all costs. It's impossible to speak to someone at the surgery to book an appointment. Tried calling 6 times... each time I was on hold for 40 minutes and gave up. Looking for another surgery as this place is either closed, or they have the worst customer service possible.
