My experiences with Turning Point have not been the best. I tried to access their services in Leeds, and for some reason the woman asked my support person if I was White British. That did not sit well with me. Recently I met one of their employees at Morley. He started talking about his work at Turning Point, saying how good he was at counseling and how he was always prepared, as if he was perfect. It sounded like he was bragging. These two experiences did not leave me with a good feeling and opinion of the organization.

What an absolute travesty in mental health services this place is. Never have I met such horrible people who are supposed to care for the vulnerable. Zero empathy and staff who have no qualifications in mental health care. Stay clear if at all possible

My friend was told by a councillor that the root of his depression was that he doesnt play sport and not that his friend had recently committed suicide and the deeper problems involved with him. Disgraceful and harmful service.
