Awful experience with Swindon Tapi, store manager ignored my complaints and avoided my calls. Fitted poorly and not fit for purpose. Had to go to the ombudsman in the end and still not resolved!

Absolutely disgusting customer service, paid 1400.00 upfront communication from the store is appalling, fitter turned up today couldnt do the job as he didnt have the tools i have taken day off work. Fitter wasnt informed of the 1. Rang the warrington store spoke to the mananger he wasnt helpful at all kept blaming the fitter then cut me off put the phone down on me bsolutely disgusting customer service. Wil ll be taking this further

Awful experience from beginning to end. I wish I had done my research first before ordering from Tapi. First of all they fitted the wrong carpet! Then I had to wait until they ordered the right carpet! Then they forgot to put the day they promised for the fitting of the new carpet in the diary! Then they found a fitter who did a really bad job on the fitting of the landing carpet and broke my outside light in the process. Head Office do not respond to complaints, they do not reply to emails, they do not call you back. I have been on to the store so many times and have been promised a new landing carpet but not before Christmas. I will keep you updated if I ever get this carpet and if ever get the money refunded for a new outside light. All in all, my advice, NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY !!! My daughter has just moved into a new build. She decided to use Tapi Stanway to install laminate flooring and carpet on the stairs. Tapi's subcontractors Martin and co-worker attended to complete the fit out. All I can say is careless unprofessional and deliberate damage of her property. My daughter went out and when she came back they had damaged one her internal doors and put it outside, they put holes in her wall and dented her brand new fridge. Luckily on my advice I had told her to take pictures before they carried out fit out in case of damage. I feel so bad for her as she has worked extremely hard to buy her new home and wanted to have flooring installed for Christmas and now she is so upset and stressed out. She has contacted Tapi store and been given the run around. We are trying to contact Tapi Head Office and not able to get through. Tapi this needs to be resolved failing which small claims court will be the next steps.

Worst company ever. Paid 900+ for flooring in the living room! Put down they did no survey of the floor. 5 months on and flooring is lifting! Called and was ignored the first 3 times until I went in to the store when they then booked me an appointment to come see it. They said my under floor was failing and I needed to get it sorted. So now Ive got someone coming and the person from tapi who was suppose to come lift the floor up so I can show the flooring man what hes on about hasnt turned up to do it and ignoring phone calls. Ive never known a company with such bad communication with their fitters and their customers. Ive got a wonky floor because the manager at Andover tapi didnt survey the floor and the fitter just put it down not even checking if it had been checked to see if it was Suitable. Im calling head office tomorrow and if I dont get it resolved Im thinking of claims court as we have been really taking the Micky out of. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
