M&S Simply Food

Dont shop here during out of hours! I stopped yesterday (31st April 2023) approximately 5a.m. Store closed so service via window. Ive been using it regularly when I go fishing and stock up on food and goodies for the day. I wanted a breakfast baguette, coffee, our best sausage roll, M&S, crisps, chocolate etc. Not to be today though. Usually an Asian man or woman serving, no problem with them, good service. Today though, a different woman serving. Ignorant, rude and sarcastic. Muttering under her breath during my shopping experience. (I was talking to myself, she said, when I asked what was wrong), tutting and eyes rolling and looking up at the sky, because Im an awkward customer, apparently. Im outside, noisy traffic and no microphone, so I cant hear, this (person) properly unless my head is in the serving drawer, I cant complain because theres a queue and Im exasperated and embarrassed. I gave up, got my wrap and coffee, not daring to ask for the rest on my shopping list, and drove off, only to see the cheeky cow waving at me pointedly with a grin. I dont usually make complaints but this experience really upset me. Guess where Im (not) going for weekly gas and food top ups.

A very convenient place to pick up food and drink. The staff here are always helpful.
