The Loft Room

If you are going to allow someone to take the roof off your home then you will want to be confident you are dealing with experts who care about their reputation and show a passion for their work. I chose to go with The Loft Room because of their proven design and build capability having seen how much my neighbour had benefitted from the experience. Not only did they build a fantastic loft space but they minimised the impact of their work on us next door. There are whole streets in our neighbourhood that commission The Loft Room to carry out work simply through word of mouth and by referrals from satisfied customers. Owners Paul and Rich back up the slick marketing of The Loft Room with in-depth knowledge of their trade to ensure your dream loft becomes a reality. They didn't stop until I was more than happy with the work of their teams ensuring that any issues we encountered were managed to my satisfaction. It was really important to me that I achieved the best possible loft conversion from a design perspective as I wanted to maximise the space but also retain the aesthetics of the building from the outside. The Loft Room design and build teams have ensured that both internal and external aspects have been optimised so that it looks and feels great on the inside but is equally so from the outside. In my experience one often gets sacrificed for the other if your builder doesnt have a passion for their work. The person that makes the whole thing a reality is the Team Lead who is your main day to day contact and the expert leading the building work on site. In my case it was Adrian, an incredibly talented joiner and roofer. The speed and accuracy of his work was really something. Working hand in hand with his labourer and weekly with Jenny at the office they built and project managed the work bringing the various trades into play at exactly the right time to ensure the work maintained its pace and quality. One of the roles of particular value that is central to the The Loft Room ethos around quality was that played by Paul and Rich in terms of their mentorship and problem solving. They would make themselves available at short notice to provide support and advice at times where a second opinion was needed and were prepared to back financially, solutions that maintained the high standards of the company. I also regularly observed the support that the different teams give each other to manage situations where additional help or heavy lifting was needed. Their agile teams work independently but pool their resources when necessary. The Loft Room have developed a great formula for bringing all trades together culminating in the high quality finish provided by the decorator and mastic teams. It is definitely worth qualifying for this free service at the end as you can enjoy the space looking its best immediately. My family have now moved into the loft of our dreams and the only thing that is now missing is the friendly banter I enjoyed with Adrian and the team. I couldnt recommend them more.

Would highly recommend The Loft Room! Paul and Rich (owners) are so personable, Jenny and the office crew are lovely to speak with and super responsive, and our project manager (Mihai) was friendly and attentive. Having had building work previously with a competitor, the service and quality were miles ahead by the team at The Loft Room. They came highly recommended by neighbors and we have since recommended them to additional neighbors and friends. They made what could have been a disruptive and stressful experience as relaxed as possible.

Weve waited for our loft extension for a long time and are so please we chose the loft company to complete it for us. Dave and Connor were great, organised, polite, responsive and keeping us up to date with nifty little videos of their progress. All the trades people they have put us in contact with have also been great and would be recommended. All in all, a potentially stressful period was made stressless. We cant wait to move up and live in the space.

We are absolutely thrilled with our dormer loft conversion which has recently been completed by the loft room. From first engagement, Luke and Charlies day to day project management & build, to all the on-site trades, everything has gone really smoothly and any minor issues dealt with quickly. Extra shout out to our project manager, Luke - he was a pleasure to have on site everyday, bringing affability and good humoured personality to complement his outstanding professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble for Luke and we were probably not the easiest clients with sky high expectations and last minute (major) changes. Luke approached each new challenge with a practical but anythings possible mindset. Its also worth noting that we also entirely reconfigured our middle floor bedrooms and Luke sought to keep disruption to a minimum and the site was always clean and tidy, even when we moved out for a couple of weeks. We are blown away by the result - Luke and the Loft Room have given us the forever home that we could only imagine and a space for us and our family to grow in. Thank you Loft Room

Thank you so much to all The Loft Room team, from start to finish the quality of work and communication was excellent. Jon the architect designed the space just as we wanted and supported us through the planning process. Jenny from the office proactively made sure the project ran smoothly and was happy to help with our requests. Our builder and project manager Lulian was fantastic throughout the build, his work and communication was exceptional. Overall the project was completed on schedule and budget with much less than expected disruption. Thanks!
