Coco di Mama - Italian To Go - Lloyd's Avenue

Dropped in for a quick lunch, a good concept and many options to select from with lots of seating. Portion size was good and served in no time, I tried the bolognese and pasta cooked well but disappointed by the sauce as on two counts, A. Not enough sauce and B. They could greatly improve this by adding more of a tomato base. To be honest by adding a richer tomato base and adding more sauce this would and could be a real winner but as it was served it seems it was down to just margins and cost and this is never a good sign. I would like to go again and try a few more menu options though.

Yesterday was the first time I visited Coco Di Mama and I had the Rigatoni Spicy Arrabbiata with cheese. This was the daily special and the regular (midi) size was 4.85. The portion was a good size and the pasta was of a high quality. The sauce and cheese were also very good and I would highly recommend Coco Di Mama. The price is comparable with other lunch chains in the area.
