Orton Chinese Takeaway

First time ordering from this restaurant. I did so because theyve recently achieved a 5 start hygiene rating in January 2023. Really regret this decision. I am a vegetarian and specifically requested that my fried vegetable and rice combo did not contain any onions as they make me incredibly sick and unwell. The restaurant totally ignored this! They didnt offer me my money back or a replacement despite me only living 15 minutes away. Biggest annoyance was that they tried to deny the onions by telling me that this was a Chinese leaf which is absolute nonsense. I literally couldnt eat my dinner and ended making something at home. I had ordered some spring rolls which I did try and these were undercooked and tasteless so threw those away as well. Wont be ordering again!

Order a delivery from here, it is the saddest Chinese take away I have ever had, dry no flavour and really small portions . There are so many nice places to order in this area I would not recommend this place The chicken balls where chicken bites they where tiny and over fried The shredded beef had no chilli or onion and 3 tiny slices of carrot the beef was like charcoal The prawn toast didnt seem to have any prawn I love Chinese food but had I bought it frozen in Aldi I reckon it would have tasted more authentic and less dry What a shame and not value for money

Ordered a 1/4 crispy duck for 9.50 and could not believe the size of the thing. It could literally feed one person!!! Duck can be expensive but they took the absolute mick with this one

Terrible ordered fried rice and sweet and sour chicken absolutely awful made me feel sick.

Really disappointed! Every single piece of the beef from the ginger and spring onion dish did not taste like beef. Spring roll was over cooked and overall experience was not good at all. I wont be ordering from here again.
