Recently discovered this gem after recommendation from friend. Staff are friendly, the owner very helpful offered to carry my bags. Had a croissant, huge, lemon cake, divine and a pastrami and pickle sandwich, very filling. Music banging. Coffee great.

This caf does the best coffee in Lewisham (and I've tried them all). Uses Julius Meinl beans (Austrian supplier) who mix Arabica and Robusta (80:20). Cups are perfect size. They charge 3 per cup, which is pretty standard these days (2023). They do decaffeinated coffee too. Also a great menu with, for example, Full English breakfast in three forms: traditional, vegetarian, and vegan. Also a kids menu. I love this place. And the staff are awesome. Spacious, light, cool decor, and music good for listening or working to. They have a loyalty card (free cup every ten stamps) and, of course, do takeaway.

Overpriced coffee and food for a place with unprofessional staff. The girl with a rude attitude and making coffee is clearly not trained to do so if she cannot froth milk (milk was too hot!) and the guy sitting there with a T-shirt with a hole as a cashier looked like a most bored person in the world. Its like some hipster place, except its not Shoreditch
