I was very nervous about trusting another publishing house because of how bad my first experience was but then I found austin Macauley and they not only put my mind at ease but made me feel at home and listened to I was a part of every part of the process every team were amazing and kind and so helpful. I have autism so have trouble trusting people I don't know anyway but the team at austin Macauley didn't treat me different like the last company they made sure I understood everything that was happening and I really felt important. I cannot recommend this company enough they published my book grace and the magical necklace to an extremely high standard and my book won a book prize as a result I cant wait to work with them on my future books. My friend is writing a book and asked if I would recommend austin Macauley my awnser was yes 1000%. Thank you to the team for everything

Where to begin...AM publishers published my first book. And although it took only 18 months. I never really heard anything other than the accounts team asking for a payment. They never answered my e- mails. Nor did they explain much about the whole process. I was just told someone would ring me back on the odd time when I had to call and ask. The book came out with so so many proof read errors it was embarrassing for me. They never marketed it to the level they say they do. It was not on any bookshelf. No posters anywhere. I never saw a press release. No radio interviews. They just put it on the same sites as anybody uses. FB, Instagram and their own AM page. N checking on my own it was on sale in over 80 bookshops around the world. With no advertising. . Jusl the odd copies that were available on line. Even their own site nver mentioned anything. Just a image of the book and my own info. Which was wrong. They even spelt my favorite authors name wrong. So bad. I asked why they never pushed it to get it on the bookshelf. Only to be told they just send it out. Its up to the shops to do that. So no real marketing then. So on the day it came to royalties. They said I sold only 38 copies in total. Being sold in over 10 countries in all those bookshops with no real marketing strategy other than try to market it yourself. I also fell for the put your book in the new York book fare. Where it will be advertised. And feedback and the advert will be sent to you if you require it. And o my not surprise. I never heard a thing back. Despite asking AM 5 times to follow it up. So I agree with the majority of reviews. They take the money, and do not really promote your book at all. The mistakes in the editing and proof reads were shocking. The contact for your guidance is non existent. . And believe me. This is not sour grapes on the sales result. It is just the fact that I never had any guidance or encouragement to help promote the book. There was no overseas marketing. And you really can do better to self publish. Or go to a more sincere caring publisher or agent. Which I now have...no doubt AM will come back with the generic reply about contacting the marketing or editing team to discuss the matter. But they will just fob me off with some pre written text for the employer to speak off... Really try and find a better deal. AM are just vanity publishers
