I had my first born daughter here in 2018 and the care was exceptional. I genuinely felt safe, listened to and happy from antenatal to postnatal. The midwifes were so attentive. I was in labour for over 12 hours and my allocated midwife stayed with me over her shift to make sure the delivery went smoothly. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

I got called saying I needed a blood glucose test so they asked me to fast from 8pm that evening until the test which was at 11am the next day. I got to the clinic and the midwife/nurse (don't even know her name or what her title was) started berating me saying she's been calling me for ages and I didnt respond. Lady, I didn't hear you that's why. That's not even the major problem. The problem is that I didnt need a blood glucose test at all! It was just a normal blood test so I didn't even need to fast! How incompetent! They did apologise but I found it hard to accept since they told me off for not responding to them when I didnt hear them. When it's their mistake it's fine but when it's yours they get so rude. I have never experienced this from doctors before and I am appalled to be honest. I know this is probably a one off since all the reviews on here are good but I am still upset.

My baby is 15mons today and Id like to give a very delayed Thank You to all the midwives who were there for us during covid and post birth. Everyone we met were very professional, kind, caring and thoughtful. All the best for you guys. Many thanks

We had our first baby here in 2020 and our 2nd in April 2022. Another great experience with brilliant care. Thank you Barkantine midwives .
