I really like the Body Shop and its products, but Ive had some trouble with the Surrey Quays store specifically when it came to collecting my online order. I first went in to collect my order, but couldnt pick up my product, despite it being in stock. The staff working (3 people, unoccupied with no other customers) werent particularly helpful and didnt make any attempts to solve the problem (they had a very not my problem attitude). When I was finally able to collect my product, I was on holiday and only had one week to collect it. I was granted an additional 4 collection days, and when I went to pick up my product (admittedly right at closing time, due to the early close time of this store compared to the entire shopping centre), I was told I would need to come back tomorrow. I assumed online purchase and collection would be easy but I wouldnt recommend. Stick to buying in stores to avoid the hassle. Edit: When I was finally able to get to the shop during opening hours, the staff informed me that my order had been cancelled by the head office and was not delivered to the store. I had to repurchase the product and I still do not have a resolution to the product that I purchased online. I have been in contact with the Body Shop and will hopefully find a resolution. Edit 2: *Reduced rating from 3 stars to 2 stars* I spoke with the Customer Care team who sent me around in circles with no explanation before cancelling my order. The Customer Care team advised that the product could not be shipped to me directly because it is taken from the store's stock - but the store could not give me the product because the order was not in their system. I also received an email which stated: "We're really sorry but as your order wasn't collected in time, it has now been cancelled." - as if I hadn't been attempting to collect my order! Overall, this was a very poor experience with the Body Shop.
