I had a voucher given to me for Xmas to get my nails done.
I went into this lovely looking place today to book. Politely I asked if I could make an appointment, No appointments available, I then asked for the Thursday she looked and said no sorry we are fully booked I then asked for the Friday morning and was again told sorry we seem to be fully booked I then asked for the Saturday I was then told why dont I take your number and if anyone does cancel I will contact you.
At this time I just wanted the ground to open up as I knew I was not wanted in the shop. I left the shop and cried I felt so embarrassed. I came home to book online just to see if my unctions were right and YES there were appointments available!
Honestly I have to say Im a well presented woman of 55 and I have NEVER felt so belittled in my life!
I have lived and run my own business in the Brockley area for over 25 years
So so very sad
