Went to Ellie's studio for the first time this afternoon, new to the area. Wonderful women, took so much time with my hair which was a mess from being away and a bad colour job. I needed a TLC day and they delivered big time. Going back soon and will probably get all my cuts and colour done there in the future. Friendly, great value, and close to home. I have been to many hairdressers in the local area (Hornsey, Crouch End and Muswell Hill) and this is the best one for quality, value, professionalism and honesty. They really take the time to explain things specifically related to your hair (everyone's is different) and what is best for you. I have never felt rushed or that I couldn't ask something. I made an appointment for a colour and they did a strand test to make sure my hair would actually hold the colour - it didn't and they were honest (my hair is too dry at the moment) so they didn't want me to feel like I wasted money once the colour faded. So thankful for that. They also will do a cut (no blowdry) for a cheaper price without questions in case you are on a budget or live close - that helps me so much.
