        Lovely venue with views etc BUT such a let down. Table was booked 4-6pm. At 4.35 still hadnt been served and you cant order at the bar. Took another 25 mins and asking 2 members of staff to find out order, before our drinks arrived making it an hour since we had arrived sitting with no drinks. Then one of the drinks was wrong and when we asked for the correct drink it took 2 more waiters and a manager to say they couldnt make a dirty martini and offered us free drinks! By that time we had only 40 mins left and didnt want more drinks that would take too long, we just what we actually ordered! One drink was given on the house by an embarrassed French manager, but no real care by any of the staff as to the delays. Then everyone had to leave for a private function at 6 which they clearly were not going to have enough staff for. Everyone in the place was sulking and complaining and leaving after one long awaited drink. Absolutely rediculous to be that way on a bank holiday weekend. Not cheap for terribly slow service. Shame as the venue & setting is lovely But everyone we chatted to said theyll never go back
