Excellent when open to the public. Suffers from a conveyor belt of weddings at weekends, in which case head south to The Sekforde or Slaughtered Lamb. Mid week head north to the Dame Alice Owen.

Been a damn good local for as long as I have lived in Clerkenwell - 22 years. Very sad to learn it has closed.

Sunday lunch was good food with a couple of drinks each for 4 people with the 20 service charge sat in the bar area came to 45 per head for a main course and 3 drinks each . Its Enough but good food
