Went in and the lady was misinformed, rude, dismissive. I am on the verge of shutting down my own account. Appalled to have my money in the hands of such people. Completely lost confidence.

My mother and I had an appointment with Alpana at the Harrow branch. We were seen to with only a 10min delay so no problem. The appointment was to have my mothers old joint 'book' account changed into a modern account for us both as my father had passed away. Alpana was informative, and just all round perfect really. I had no issues at all and the entire process was about 20mins.

Patrick the manager is awful lies about policies just so he does not have to do work. Does not have any eye contact when speaking and is very rude. Also caught him picking his nose and then eating it!! Ewwww

Had an appointment at 11:00 with Alpana, got there around 11:20. We have 5 kids and had to take 2 smallest ones with us since we don't have anyone to look after them. They can't tell me about their day so can't leave them with strangers. Anyway, stood in the queue for another 10 mins. A very nice lady checked if my appointment could still be fulfilled. When Alpana approached me, she gave me the impression that she would be able to keep the appointment, but after 5 mins into waiting for my husband to come she said to add another person to an account that would take around 45 mins, then she said 30 mins and i should re-book the appointment. I've explained that my situation will not change, I will always have to deal with unexpected things, I am already there with my 2 kids if she could see me. Now they make this rule where both party should be there if adding a person to the account but didn't take into account the mitigated circumtance. She was indifferent to my situation, which is really bad customer service. I will be closing this account and my child's account because I don't think I want to be with a bank who is ready to sell me stuff but is indifferent to my difficulties!
