I barely write reviews but a staff named Pooja was really kind and helpful when she realised Id been waiting for a while in a line for deposit some cash. 5 starts for such a good service!

The staff are lovely . However , this branch is VERY BADLY MANAGED . There are only TWO cashiers at the till and sometimes only ONE cashier but ALWAYS a long line of customers waiting to be served . There is ALWAYS a male member of staff standing by the door and another member of staff hanging around beside him . And theyre usually chatting away! Then theres another member of staff hanging around by the customers in the Queue . They ask you what you want to do and try to entice you to use the machines. Theyre very annoying ! I tell them politely that if I didnt need to be served by the cashier , I wouldnt be standing in the Queue ! They ask if they can help me in any other way and I ask them if they could please open up another cashiers desk to which they always reply that they cant ! Therefore ,there are at least 3/4 members of staff standing around doing absolutely NOTHING ! The manager should open up more cashiers desks , so SANTANDERs CUSTOMERS CAN BE SERVED and dont have to wait 45 minutes to an hour in the Queue

Perhaps, no, not perhaps, most definitely the worst bank i always have the misfortune of visiting. Once again, yesterday I went to the this branch at 2.28pm, 2 cashiers were working, the other 2 stations were vacant, as is always the case, whilst there was a queue from the cashier's desk to the door, all you have to do is watch your video, I finally got out of there at 3.06pm! An utter disgrace! I dread it whenever I have to visit this branch because I know that I will ALWAYS be in a long queue. My daughter & her partner are at present looking to obtain a mortgage, definitely not from Santander, so if anyone out there is thinking of opening any type of account with Santander at this branch, i'd stay far away if I were you
