        Shocking. All I want to do is pay in a cheque. The machine doesn't work. I'm told if I have online banking I can do it. But I'm standing in the bank. I need to download the app? If the machine can't scan it how do I know the app will work. Nobody cares. Worst service I've ever experienced. Leaving Halifax ASAP. Update: I'm now at home trying to pay the cheque in with the app and the app is failing to open my camera despite it being authorised and just crashes. I'm literally disgusted by Halifax at this point. Wasted nearly a whole afternoon with a basic thing.

        Great customer service shown in this branch, very helpful staff and always cheerful. Unfortunately the opening/closing times are a bit of an annoyance, but nothing as serious as to drop one star off.
