Chin Chin (Pan Asian Dining)

We used to love food from Chin Chin - including their take aways. Sadly, our last three takeaways have been very poor. The pad thai has been consistently flavourless - no tang of tamarind, no sweetness and lacking salt too. Just quite greasy. The green curry we just ate was not green at all, it was highlighter yellow, and tasted strongly of tumeric! Again, it didn't have any of the Thai flavour you would expect. This is quite an expensive restaurant, and we are just not sure it's worth dining here again. Maybe the have a different chef now? Real shame - it used to be a great local restaurant option for us :(

A hidden gem, you'd never believe the vast magical experience that lies behind the little front door. Had the best time with my sisters. Greeted warmly and was waited on efficiently. Great selection on menu, definitely have to return to try some new things. Hot food served hot and cold food served cold. Clean plates, glasses and cutlery and the food made with the freshest ingredients. I was totally impressed as a Chef and graduated EHO. Our taste buds were dancing and we smiled from starters to desserts. Vegetarian options: A very good selection of vegetarian dishes which is why we came here also as one of my sisters is vegetarian

I went to ChinChin for my husbands birthday following recommendations from some friends and family and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The restaurant is much bigger than it first seems... with zoned areas with different ambiences. The staff are extremely friendly and were very attentive to my 5yr old and my 9yr old boys. The portions were huge and we over ordered so had lots of food left over to take home. The only reason I have scored the service 4/5 is because they got one of our orders wrong, which they did rectify without issue, and they also forgot one of our dishes, which they then cancelled off our bill and forgot to bring us our water. Aside from this, everything was amazing, good options for vegetarians and really flavoursome food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will absolutely be going back again soon!
