Maria helped us completely redesign a 1960s Town house that needed significant improvement. We chose Maria because she showed from the start that she wanted to listen to our ideas and combine them with her creative use of space to achieve exactly what we wanted. She also had a real empathy for this type of house which made it feel that we could create something special. Maria provided great advice on energy conservation and other aspects of building design and construction which produced a huge improvement in energy conservation and efficiency. She is excellent at managing the detail with the builders which was important on such a big project and helped to minimise the many stresses and strains in such a project. Maria designed and project managed the remodelling of our home, this included a loft conversion, a ground floor extension as well as structural changes to other rooms. We are really happy with the way our home has turned out. Maria worked with the builders to ensure that the project was completed on time and within our budget. Most importantly, she spent a lot of time with us in the design phase to understand what we wanted to achieve, discussing ideas with us, listening to our feedback and coming up with creative solutions. She is very professional, with a high degree of creativity, and was committed to ensuring that the project delivered to our hopes and expectations.
