Matt Weyham of MEW Architects was highly recommended to us by our contractor, after we had been extremely let down by our previous architect. We needed drawings for a complete home renovation including a single storey side extension, loft conversion and a rear extension. Right from the outset Matts outstanding professionalism, knowledge, compassion and integrity shown through. He was not phased about coming into the project at such a late stage. Matt recognised the pressure I was under to complete our home by a certain date and despite being extremely busy, his team worked around the clock to deliver outstanding and thorough drawings for us in record time. The drawings we received offered us creative solutions and ideas that we had thought were unachievable in our home! Matt also ensured that he found cost-effective ways to ensure that we would be able to stay within our budget for our build. Matt is not only exceptionally qualified as an architect, he is also extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the planning application process and the building trade. As such, he was able to provide us with advice, ideas and suggestions that were invaluable. He was knowledgeable about our permitted development rights so in addition to submitting a full planning application, he was able to advice us and secure a certificate of lawfulness for aspects of our build. In addition, Matts communication with us throughout the project was excellent. He was approachable and understanding and made sure he took the time to answer all our queries as efficiently as possible. He was diligent and attentive to the things that were critical to us for our home. I can truly say that Matt goes above and beyond in his work and I have at times been moved to tears by his compassion, understanding, support and positive outlook! If you are looking for an outstanding architect who operates with extreme professionalism, transparency and integrity you will find none better than Matt Weyham. His extra-mile approach makes you feel like you are working with a family member who you can trust implicitly. Matt was great to work with. Very calm and professional. The drawings provided were very thorough and he came up with some great solutions for our project. The granting of planning permission was seamless. I wouldnt hesitate using Matt again for any future projects.
