The church benefactored by amongst others Cross & Blackwell is set purposely away from the main road to create a country church feel from the mid 1800s.
The church is a welcoming community.
The has interesting stainglass windows including one using whitefriars technique. There are several war memorials.
The architect who build the church also at the end of his career returned to complete the extension at the end of his career.
Previous review: sadly closed when I visited despite Google saying open 9am to 5pm.
The church is from mid 1800s. Its is a beautiful church set in its own grounds and cemetery.
Leefe Robinson vc is buried locally.
Despite being on a busy road. It is a secluded and peaceful oasis worth a visit.
