        Set in a lovely picture postcard village, this is a typical country pub. The roads are narrow so parking must be wherever you can find a space. The welcome is friendly and warm. The food is good but from a limited menu. The honey chipolatas are highly recommended as is the chocolate pudding. We ordered chips to go with the fishcake and they were lovely. I am told by my friend that the beer, of which there was a good selection, was very good. So a visit down the country lanes is highly recommended.

        Very disappointed in last nights experience. I think the pub has changed hands . The food used to be memorable, it is now very average and the staff are unfriendly and clueless
