We visited Beauchamp House today. I was very impressed with the care, support, compassion and person- centred approach from all the staff. Staff were very professional, welcoming and courteous. It was a difficult time to visit, but we were supported with very calm and respectful staff which made a difficult visit more of a very moving experience.

Easy to get to via bus. Very uneven surface, up a flight of steps, like going up a light house. Guest book in entrance to sign in very efficient. Alot of residents go there for respite, so alot of people coming, and going for short stays. The only trouble is with the lift (the interpreter is wrong) for example when the lift is going down, the lift says going up. System error been like this for ages now! . Not good on behalf of resident wellbeing particly with dementia. That's good that the care home supports alot of charitable events (ovisly can't at present due to covid) also the notice board is updated recently.
