Built in Victorian times this lovely designed in 15th-century style church was a replacement an earlier church that dated back to Saxon times. The church was built and paid for by Frederick Gonnerman Dalgety of Lockerley Hall and it was he who laid the foundation stone on the 10th August, 1889. In the churchyard there is a wonderful old yew and within there are 100 colourful prayer kneelers made by the parishioner's to celebrate the church's centenary in 1990. I enjoyed my visit and was very pleased to be able to see inside this grade II listed church. There is easy access and parking can be found directly outside the church along a layby off Lockerley Road.

I have been a resident to lockerley and east Dean since I was born and have been coming since I was a child, my wedding was held here on November the 20th 2021 and I wouldn't have wanted it anywhere else. It is not just the church which is a lovely place, but I cannot express enough how amazing the church community is aswell!

Lovely church and location. The memorial service I went during covid had a choir at the back of the church which was superb.
