Miller & Carter Mirfield

The food and service was fantastic, however the dress code (which we were informed about on a number of occasions after booking, and is clearly stated on entry) was not regarded by other customers nor was it questioned by staff. I was highly disappointed at this (one table near us all 3 guests were wearing sportswear, tracksuits, trainers and baseball caps) I would have expected an establishment such as yours to uphold the dresscode. Callum was absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable and helpful. He was very friendly and professional throughout and we really enjoyed him taking care of us for the night. Thanks Callum! Food was lovely! Thank you very much for a lovely anniversary meal.

Very busy place. Service was good. Food was good but expensive. It is steak after all! Once a month rather than once a week.

Good food, slow service, feels like an expensive wetherspoons. Edit: The slow service was in relation to not asking if I needed another drink despite finishing before my food arrived. Perhaps 'poor service' would have been more accurate. Tried to flag down a waitress a few times before giving up. Wasn't about to repeat that when asking for the bill, so went to the bar as soon as we'd finished. The wetherspoons comment was in relation to the atmosphere (the 3rd thing i'm asked to review), I'm well aware they operate differently to miller and carter. By no means a disaster, hence the 3 stars but I'd expect more from a 100 bill.
