Hair Fairy Wigs

Tracey was just gorgeous. So welcoming and friendly. So many choice of wigs. Best thing is youre not rushed. And nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend Hair Fairy Wigs. Shop is lovely too. Big space but all consultations are completely private. We will be back.

Took my Mum for her first ever visit to a wig shop 2 days before her first chemotherapy treatment. As a woman, losing your hair is extremely difficult to deal with and you expect other women would empathise with that. Booked an appointment at Hair Fairy. Was met by Eve who just didnt put my Mum at ease at all. She told my Mum she didnt have anything that matched her hair (reasonable I suppose, cant have everything in stock) but could order something in (only if she left 150 deposit). Came back with one wig that was not even close, allowed it to grace my Mums head for all of 30 seconds before she whipped it off and left her sat staring at herself in the mirror with a net holding her hair up. Way to go Eve, thanks for making her feel special. Then comes back with a bright blonde bob - my Mum has long hair past her shoulders. I kept my opinions to myself (in the shop) out of respect for my Mum but after we left She apologised to me for wasting my time coming shopping with her for nothing. I. Was. Furious!!! Some people are not suited for certain jobs, you Eve, are one them. You need to find some empathy. I work in the health care sector and if I treated patients like you do, Id be ashamed. She asked you how much a beanie was and you couldnt even answer her, all you gave her was they are all different prices - she would have bought one so you lost that sale. Bravo. The fact my Mum came away from you, apologising to me, broke my heart. You didnt even ask her what her hair is like over the phone to prepare for her - to support her at the worst time of her (and our families) life. You didnt even bring a wig down that was a completely different colour, but that matched her style. You could have said this isnt your colour, but its your style and I can get your colour and make it perfect for you - to give her hope that although in a couple of months time she wont have her own beautiful hair, its alright, because she will still be beautiful. You failed massively - and you only had one job. Safe to say, shant be returning. Made to feel like Julia Roberts with the saleswoman in Pretty Woman.

My wife was made to feel at ease and didn't feel rushed. The consultation was carried out in a friendly understanding manner and both Tracy and Eve both made her feel welcomed. Thank you.

Thank you so much Eve for finding me a lovely wig. After many months of chemotherapy and hair loss I finally feel comfortable with myself. Your knowledge and kindness meant so much. I will be back for my next one. X
