We had 2 armchairs and a side chair re-covered and stuffed. The work was exceptional and done in great time. Very happy with the end results!

I recently had 6 dining chairs reupholstered to freshen up. Absolutely over the moon with how theyve turned out. Make such a difference to the room. Thanks so much

Recently had two couches completely reupholstered, these were originally built by my grandfather 30 years ago and have great sentimental value. Simon did a superb job, even remaking the side cushions which were lost years ago. The material looks great, new feet were attached and the whole suite looks as good as new.

What can I say apart from exceptional service! I brought in a very tired, worn out sofa and chair which sagged heavily after decades of use. Simon and Paul were very kind and patient, going through the fabric options they had in their workshop and catalogue. The work was completed in the timescale they provided and the results were stunning! They had completely plumped up the cushioning so it felt basically brand new, and the finish on the sewing was great. Absolutely love the results, would definitely recommend them to anyone whose furniture needs a new lease of life!

I had two treasured Chesterfield sofas re-covered in what was described as "reconstituted leather" by J & S Booth in 2015. The work initially seemed great with the level of craftsmanship and finish appearing to be very good. The company price quoted very promptly and then, having decided to go ahead, the sofas were collected, worked on and returned well within the time-frame offered and I was initially very pleased with the results. Two years on from having had the work done however, the "reconstituted leather" began breaking down/flaking and the seams started splitting, despite the sofas only having had light use. As time has gone on, the structure of the material has continued to disintegrate terribly, becoming increasingly unsightly and messy as the flaking continually leaves 'crumbs' on clothing, etc. At the time of writing, the sofas look embarrassingly bad and I have to use throws to cover/disguise them. As the recovering of the sofas cost 3,000, I've definitely been very disappointed by the quality of the material used, the shortness of its life and the fact that the company didn't forewarn me re what to expect in relation to its short life-expectancy. The material has behaved very similarly to a cheap faux-leather stool I used to have which broke down in a similar fashion. Had I been forewarned, I would definitely have chosen a different material. Sadly, I wasn't and no guarantee was offered; consequently I'm now looking for an upholsterer to re-cover them again.
