I hired their services to transport my bike from the US to Spain, for my peace of mind, I trusted them since they seemed like a serious and trustworthy company. Big mistake, it was all problems, start to finish. The collection was not when it should have been, which led to extra expenses, problems to bring the bike from the UK to Spain, according to what they said was because DHL did not want to transport the bike in the semi-rigid suitcase (when the company sendbike had accepted, charged more for it and DHL had also picked up without problem a few days before). It was in their warehouses for more than 15 days and until I complained there was no communication with me about what was happening. And finally, they make me pay the rates from the UK to EU, when I contract a service from the US to EU, if they decide that the bike enters the UK (after having already passed through EU), it is their problem. I regret having hired him, I do not recommend him at all. Not seriousness, not confidence, not competition.

Firstly their TrustPilot rating is 4.5, not the self advertised 5 stars. Despite following all instructions, on bike shipment day Sendbike cancelled our booking 90 minutes before collection at our Paris hotel. This booking was for two expensive carbon road bikes. We received no phone call or explanation for this, they just cancelled on us. In frantic conjunction with Sendbike via their live text chat (they do NOT do phone calls) & on their reccomendations, we put together an alternative plan and dropped the bikes at a local DHL access point shop which we found via a link Sendbike had provided during this live chat. All of this was approved by Sendbike at the time. Collection did not work out as planned and the bikes were left on the shop floor for well over a week. Sendbike did very little to assist us fix this, during which time they placed blame on all parties but themselves, have accepted no accountability for anything at all, and have made us do all the work to remedy the situation. In their own words in an e-mail I received "we really only send labels". They claimed to be doing everything in their power to assist us whilst at the same time repeatedly refusing to have a phone conversation with me. I didn't speak to anyone at Sendbike during the nine days this issue lasted. We have since ditched Sendbike (refund pending) entirely and are now seeking to solve this problem independently.
