Greenbank Park means so much to me now. It didn't so much when my mum was alive. It was her favourite place The place she'd go alone on a random bike ride after work. Or even before just before, to feed the ducks, birds and squirrels. She loved them. Just as she loved all of nature's beauty and simplicity. I love you Greenbank park. I love you Mum x

I bring my partners kids here as an excuse to have a go on the swings and to rag it around on the roundabout. Sure, I'm 36. But swings are ace. I hope one day to go right over the top so I can put a photo of it on my Tinder bio and get pyar birds. I'm dead good on the jungle gym now. Sure, my feet touch the ground when I'm on it but I think that 8 year old was jealous when I got across faster than him. In your face Timmy. It's actually a well maintained play area. Not massive, but adjacent to the fantastic cafe and the rest of the park is lovely. Helps burn some of the energy off when I pick the kids up from school
