You are paying for your bag to be secure but when I arrived they didnt bother to look at my confirmation email, they just took my bag and put it onto a chair by the front door of the shop.
I dont usually pipe up about anything, I dont complain etc but I said youre just leaving my bag there and he said yes and I said Im not very happy or comfortable with that, is there nowhere you can keep this behind the counter? And he said no. I asked again and he simply said no. There was no tag or anything added to my bag either for identification.
If you didnt have to pay online I wouldve asked for my money back and said forget it but Id paid. There was nothing of value in my bag so I decided to leave it even though it did upset me, but if I had anything of value I wouldve never left it.
I called the company and told them how I felt, I was just told thats how it is at most of their shop locations he said bags are usually left on the shop floor but the main thing is that there is CCTV so if anything is missing youd know. Thats just not acceptable to me, you may not realise if something is missing until youre home and I dont want that risk in the first place!
The next unacceptable thing which happened was that when I collected my bag they didnt check my ID or ask my name. They just asked which one is your bag? and gave it to me, and it wasnt the same staff as when I dropped my bag off so they didnt know who I was and if I was telling the truth
Its put me off using this kind of service again. It just didnt feel secure at all.
