My 1-1 beginners Lesson with Janek was so thorough and enjoyable. He as enabling and fun and also shared lots of tips on everything from inflating boards and how to paddle to water sport etiquette. Other paddlers at the venue were really helpful and friendly and its a great location to SUP - seeing Liverpool docks from a different perspective. Highly recommended.

We had a private SUP lesson with Janek this morning and it was amazing! Having never been on a board before Janek took us through the safety and basic stuff on dry land before we headed into the water- we were up on our feet in no time and managed a 2 mile out and back SUP of the Albert docks, it was amazing to see Liverpool from a different perspective and SUP is such a relaxing amazing experience! Janek was really patient and brilliant at explaining what to do- he watched us and offered little tweaks to our technique so we felt like we were constantly improving throughout and he even helped us swap boards and try his fancy board and paddle! It was an incredible morning and we cant wait to go again! Thanks Janek!

Had a one to one lesson this morning with janek from sunturtle sup, what an amazing guy. He taught me so much this morning, self rescue, how to stand up.confidently and be able to paddle with confidence. I highly recommend him to teach anyone. I've had 2 lessons previously elsewhere, but this guy blew me away with his calmness and patience and I'm so grateful to him for what he taught me today.

Having previously had some water sports experience I decided to buy a ISUP board and book some lessons. After doing a little research i quickly found that Sun Turtle was the company to go for, I wanted to book in with Liverpools first and best Stand Up Paddle Board instructor Janek. Right from the start this company was friendly and professional. Dan answered all of my questions and responded quickly and knowledgeably to my many questions. My sessions with Janek were fun, engaging and educational, Ive never worked with such a fanatic teacher before and Im a qualified teacher myself! Within my two sessions Ive learnt so much everything from initially setting up my board through to advanced paddle strike techniques and turns. I can highly recommend this company, the experience of paddling around Liverpools iconic Albert Dock was unbelievable and we even stopped of for a coffee! Such an awesome and unforgettable day. I really cant thank Janek and Sun Turtle enough.
