The Makeup Academy Liverpool

I did the level 2 course back in the winter, and have just finished the level 3 fashion and photographic makeup course - I have loved every moment!!! Jane, the course leader, is such a kind, wonderful person and her skills as a makeup artist and as a tutor are just phenomenal - she has gone above and beyond for us, ensuring that we are 100% happy and confident with the looks/techniques. You are given the chance to push yourself and bring in your own ideas to each themed look - especially with the fantasy looks! The masterclass and work placement that we were given the chance to take part in were just amazing, eye-opening experiences and Im so so grateful to Jane, and so thankful that I got chance to study and work with her - I could not recommend The Makeup Academy enough

I'm really shocked at the one negative review, it's disgusting a person can say these things while never having been there. I studied there and the VTCT helped me get jobs in the makeup industry and start my own business. Jane is a fantastic teacher, she's always there for her students, answers any questions, helps them with their kit, teaches them all they need to know about technique and life in the industry and is the most encouraging person you could hope to learn from. The class sizes aren't overwhelming so Jane has time to focus plenty of attention on you and she works tirelessly to get her students on work experience, placements and jobs. This is an excellent place to learn makeup.

The Makeup Academy is amazing and Jane is a fantastic teacher. Brilliant for brushing up your own skills or training to become a makeup artist. Ignore the (one and only) negative review - this place is certainly NOT a con. Jane is one of the most genuine people you'll ever meet. You can visit and see for yourself before signing up for anything. I would highly recommend.

I attended the Makeup Academy a makeup novice and a little nervous. Jane instantly put me at ease and gave me so many useful hints and tips. I would 100% recommend the Makeup Academy for its teaching, the studio and location in Liverpool city centre.
